My wife and I were initially hesitant about hiring a contractor due to the horror stories I’ve heard, but working with Phil from Acquired Designs completely changed my perspective. From the start, Phil was an exceptional communicator, always keeping us in the loop about the progress and next steps. Despite the extensive work required, we never felt out of the loop or unsure about what was happening.
Phil made the entire process seamless. He was incredibly helpful in guiding us through decisions, offering his expertise when we needed it, and stepping in to make choices on our behalf when we were unsure. His balance of giving us control while also taking the lead when necessary was exactly what we needed.
The subcontractors Phil brought in were also top-notch—very professional and respectful of our home. The project stayed within our budget, and the entire process took a reasonable number of weeks. Phil did a fantastic job keeping things on schedule and even jumped in to do some of the work himself when necessary to ensure everything stayed on track.

If I could rate Phil and his company more than five stars, I would. Can't begin to express how happy I was with the end result of my remodeled bathroom and how much of an improvement was made versus the old outdated version. Phil went above and beyond from start to finish to make sure that we were happy with the outcome. Everything from getting a quote right down to the final stages of construction, Phil was involved with every step of the way. He was very communicative throughout the entire process and was responsive with every annoying question I had throughout the project. He's friendly, knowledgeable, patient and fair. I should also add that this isn't my first time hiring Acquired Designs for a remodel, they did my kitchen a few years back and that whole process was also nothing short of amazing. I HIGHLY recommend Acquired Designs Remodeling for any of your home remodeling needs. We desperately needed to remodel our house and kept putting it off because it was such a daunting project. We visited several of our neighbors’ remodeled homes by various contracting companies. The workmanship and design quality of Acquired set them apart from all the other companies! Phillip (owner) made the remodel so easy; he viewed a few pictures that showed what I liked and caught the design vision immediately. I didn’t have to search for materials, flooring, cabinets, hardware, finishings, etc. Phillip brought me a few samples and I picked from there. This saved me so much time and money! Phillip was super easy to work with and took care of all unknown problems that were not discovered until after work started. We ran into several structural problems due to years of water damage, and he made sure that the damaged trusses were pulled out and new fortified trusses were installed to insure the integrity of the second floor. Phillip is a perfectionist and will make sure things are done right! We were just amazed at the finished product!! We can’t thank Phillip and team at Acquired enough; we LOVE our remodeled home and enjoy the peace and comfort a beautiful environment provides! We definitely made the right decision to go with Acquired!!
